Our Little Chef!

Kiley had a great time at her friend Sandra's 3rd birthday party today. All the kids got to be chefs for the day and make yummy pizzas, frosting and decorate cookies and cupcakes.

And of course, Kiley got to enjoy some yummy birthday cake and ice cream!

Kiley's Big Girl Bed

We've been getting ready for baby boy's arrival by cleaning the house and organizing. Part of our preparation is to get Kiley out of her crib and into a big girl bed. This past weekend we put a bed in her room with her new bedding. She was soooo excited! For two days, she kept saying "You like your bed" and wanting to hang out in it all the time.

Nap time at our house has been a real struggle lately. Some days Kiley still takes a nap, others...not so much. So I made a deal with her and told her she doesn't need to sleep, but she still needs her rest and can stay in bed and read if she doesn't want to sleep.

So the other day I was really busy doing some stuff around the house during "rest time" when I noticed it was really quiet. I went into our bedroom and found Kiley had fallen asleep while reading...
