Christmas in California!

We celebrated a belated Christmas with our family and friends in California over the weekend. We attempted to take Kiley ice skating for the very first time, but it didn't go as well as planned. She did one lap around the rink while Joey held her, and skated a few feet, then demanded to "take her skates off." We tried to take her out on the ice a few more times, but she was not interested. She had more fun observing Daddy and our friends, Alicia and Hunter, skate. Oh well...we will just try again in a few months.

Kiley did enjoy seeing Grandpa Joe and Grandma Hali's Christmas tree, as well as opening all the gifts Santa left for her at their house. She also had fun helping Grandpa Tadek blow out the candles on his birthday (60th!!!) cake, and checking out the tree at Grandpa Tadek and Grandma Aga's house. And of course, she loved all the presents Santa left for her at their house too.

Merry Christmas!

We hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas Eve and Christmas as much as we did. Kiley loved opening her presents and playing with her new toys. It is tradition in our family to open gifts on Christmas Eve, so we did just that. Christmas Day was spent baking cookies that we took to California with us for our friends and family.

Enjoy the pic overload...

It's Snowing in Vegas!!

The title says it all...Monday was a winter wonderland in the desert.

Little girls in tutus and fairy wings...

Is there anything cuter? Seriously? Kiley recently went to her friend, Kaiya's, third birthday party filled with tutus and fairy wings. She had a blast decorating a princess picture frame, running around in her tutu and fairy wings, and of course, eating a cupcake!

Happy 3rd Birthday, Kaiya!

Cookies!

Kiley loves, loves, loves to decorate cookies! She gets really excited about the frosting, and the sprinkles and the colored sugar. Everyday she says, "You want to decorate more cookies." It's not a question, but a statement.

Here she is hard at work:

Check out our house!

This past weekend we went to California again and started a new family tradition...decorating a gingerbread house! We, along with the grandparents and our friend Alicia, went to the St. Regis Hotel in Monarch Beach for their annual Gingerbread House Academy. Kiley really enjoyed decorating her house, as well as eating all the decorations. :)
