Happy Halloween!

Busy day for us! We started with story time and trick-or-treating at Barnes and Noble...

Followed by decorating cookies at Whole Foods...

And ending the night with dinner, cupcakes, candy apples and trick-or-treating with our friends, the Berry's...

Sing-a-Long Fun!

Kiley had fun at the PBK Halloween Sing-a-long...until her balloon popped, and we had the "world's greatest tantrum" in public. Good times.

I Miss Sleep!

I miss sleep. I really, really, really miss sleep. I haven't slept an entire night in over a year now. Last night, I couldn't fall asleep until 11, then I was up at 12:30 am and basically every two hours or so after that. Between Will waking up (why, I am not sure...he didn't really want to nurse, just kind of tossed and turned most of the night) and our houseguest Chloe (Mel's puppy) who decided 3 am was a wonderful time to wake up and start barking at our dogs to get them to play, I was up. I really miss the days that I could sleep thought anything...earthquakes, alarms, the garbage truck outside. Now every little sound wakes me up.

But, I get to wake up to this smiling face:


And this one as she climbs into bed for morning snuggles:


It could be much worse.
